It’s easy to lose track of how many bolts are left in the magazine. However, you should never shoot without a bolt—so-called dry fires can damage the string and limbs. The M10 dry fire safety reliably prevents such misfires, as the M10 cannot be cocked if there is no bolt in the magazine. This safety mechanism can be easily installed into the M10 magazine without tools. There’s no need to disassemble the magazine, and the installation can be reversed at any time. Even with the dry fire safety installed, you can still load 10 bolts into the magazine.
